The Geneseo Chamber of Commerce has an established program whereby members can contribute 10% over and above their regular dues to the scholarship endowment fund or to a specific Chamber sponsored event. The Chamber scholarship endowment fund was established in order to give Geneseo High School students the opportunity to apply for money to assist with college expenses. The scholarship is awarded to a high school senior who plans to major in business or a business related field and who is interested in returning to Geneseo to work after graduation.
If members are interested in supporting a specific Chamber event, such as Trains, Planes & Automobiles or Christmas Walk, they may designate their 10% to go towards that purpose.
